Metromover System closing this Weekend for upgrades

Free bus shuttle service will be provided between Metromover stations

(MIAMI, April 21, 2015) - In order to complete upgrades, the entire Metromover system will close all day Saturday, April 25, 2015 and Sunday, April 26.

Free bus-shuttle service will be provided between Metromover stations, with buses arriving approximately every 10 to 15 minutes.

A map of where shuttle buses will pick up and drop off patrons is available at MDT’s Metromover web page.

Miami-Dade Transit apologizes for the inconvenience; however, this closure is necessary to continue system upgrades and to perform needed work throughout the Metromover system.  Patrons are encouraged to plan accordingly.

Metromover will reopen for regular service at 5 a.m. on Monday, April 27, 2015.
