West Venetian Bascule Bridge work - Route A detour - starting June 1, 2015 - 21 May 2015

Beginning Monday, June 1, 2015, Route A bus service on the Venetian Causeway will be temporarily detoured (map)PDF due to bridge construction work, and will provide temporary service only between Biscayne Island (Toll Plaza) at N. Venetian Drive and Meridian Avenue and 18 Street in Miami Beach.

Route A passengers wishing to continue traveling westbound to the mainland during the construction period should consider using alternative connecting beach routes: L, M, 115/117 Mid-North Beach Connection, or Route S, which provides service to Downtown Miami. The South Beach Local provides service on the beach along Dade Boulevard and the Venetian Causeway to Belle Isle. All other routes provide connections between Lennox and Meridian Avenue along 17 Street.
