    New Metrorail extension renamed as AirportLink - 10 Jun 2010

    The 2.4-mile Metrorail extension under construction between the Earlington Heights station and the Miami Intermodal Center adjacent to Miami International Airport has a new name. Formerly known as the Miami Intermodal Center-Earlington Heights Connector, the project has been officially renamed as the AirportLink.

    Dade-Broward 95 Express commuter service - 16 Apr 2010

    Transit is now offering nonstop commuter express service on I-95 and the new express lanes between the Ft. Lauderdale and Sheridan Street Tri-Rail stations and downtown Miami, with service every 15 minutes during weekday rush hours. More info.

    Express route connects MIA with Miami Beach - 10 Mar 2010

    Officials recently celebrated the inauguration of the new Airport Flyer, an express route connecting Miami International Airport with Miami Beach and Metrorail for just $2.35.

    Miami-Dade Transit (MDT) plans to advertise six critical capital projects in the first quarter of 2010 in support of the Airport Link Metrorail extension and Metrorail vehicle replacement.
