Transit service during the Ultra Music Festival 2015

Transit is an easy and convenient way to get to and from the Ultra Music Festival 2015 taking place at Bayfront Park in downtown Miami from Friday, March 27 to Sunday, March 29, 2015.

Metrorail and Metromover service will be extended to 1 a.m. on each of these days, and Transit Supervisors will be available to assist passengers as needed.
Please note that Metromover is FREE for all patrons.

Please note that additional traffic delays are expected in the Miami Beach area due to Centennial Celebration events and Spring Break.

Ultra Music Festival Bus Stops Service Affected

  • Bus stops located eastbound from SE 1st Ave. to Biscayne Blvd. for routes 3, 11, 77, 93, 95, C, and S will be affected due to the music festival.  Patrons should proceed to SE 1 Ave. and E. Flagler St. for bus service.
  • Bus stops located northbound from SE 1st Ave. to SE 14th St. on Biscayne Blvd. for routes 3, 93, 9, C, and S will be affected by the music festival. Patrons should proceed to SE 1st Ave. / NE 1st Ave., between E. Flagler St. and NE 14th St. (or OMNI Terminal) for bus service.
  • Bus stops located northbound from SE 1st Ave. to NE 14th St. on Biscayne Blvd. for routes 95 (morning) will be affected alternative proceed to SE 1st Ave. / NE 1st Ave., between E. Flagler St. and NE 14th St.
  • Bus stops located southbound from NE 14th St. to NE 3rd St. on Biscayne Blvd. for routes 3,93,95,C,S will be affected alternative proceed to N. Miami Ave., between NE 14 St. and NE 1st  St.
  • Bus stops located westbound from Biscayne Blvd. to NE 1st Ave. for routes 11 and 77 will be affected. Patrons should proceed to NE 1st Ave. and NE 1st St.

Purchasing your Metrorail Fare:

To avoid long lines at the ticket vending machines at Metrorail stations, MDT is encouraging all Ultra Music Festival goers to purchase and load an EASY Card or EASY Ticket prior to the event. Metrorail and most Metrobuses charge $2.25 per trip ($4.50 round trip). Those who will be using public transit throughout the day are encouraged to purchase a 1-Day Pass for $5.65. This pass allows for unlimited travel on Metrobus and Metrorail until 2 a.m. the next morning.

EASY Cards can be purchased at the following locations:

  • EASY Card Transit Vending Machines, located at all Metrorail stations and at the Golden Glades Park and Ride
  • EASY Card Retail sales outlets – List of available locations
  • Transit Service Centers:
    • Government Center Metrorail Station - 111 NW First Street – Second Level
      Open weekdays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
    • Overtown Transit Village - 701 NW First Court – Suite 121
      Open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Parking

Parking is also available at various Metrorail stations for $4.50 a day, including weekends and holidays, and can be purchased at the Ticket Vending Machines located at all Metrorail stations.

  • Metromover will extend service until 1 a.m. Friday through Sunday

Metrorail

  • Costs $2.25 per trip ($4.50 for a round trip)

For more information on how to obtain an EASY Card or EASY Ticket, or about transit schedules, event goers can call 305-891-3131, Monday-Friday, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., and on Saturdays, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. TTY users can call 305-499-8971.
