Corporate Run – Thursday, April 24, 2014

Transit is an easy and convenient way to get to and from the Corporate Run, which is taking place in downtown Miami on Thursday, April 24th.

Please note that unlike previous years, Miami-Dade Transit WILL NOT be offering discounted fares for race participants.

Metrorail and Metromover will operate on a normal weekday schedule, from 5:00 a.m. to midnight

Patrons will need to pay the regular fare to use transit. To avoid long lines at the Ticket Vending Machines (TVMs) at Metrorail stations, MDT is encouraging all Corporate Run participants to purchase and load an EASY Card or EASY Ticket prior to the event. Both are available at EASY Card TVMs, located at all Metrorail stations at the Golden Glades Park and Ride lot and at more than 130 EASY Card sales outlets located throughout Miami-Dade County.

For more information on how to obtain an EASY Card or EASY Ticket, or about transit schedules, event goers can call  3-1-1, Monday – Friday, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. TTY users can call 305-499-8971.

Parking

Metrorail parking garages will remain open until the stations are closed.  Patrons will need to pay $4.50 daily for parking, unless they already have a monthly Metrorail parking permit.

Metrorail

Metrorail will operate on its normal schedule, from 5:00 a.m. to midnight:

  • Trains arrive approximately every 10 minutes during weekday rush hours
  • Every 15 minutes at midday
  • Every 30 minutes from about 7:30 p.m. until closing at 12 midnight

Metromover

Metromover service, which is FREE for all patrons, will continue until the last Metrorail train departs the Government Center station.

It will operate on its normal schedule, from 5:00 a.m. to midnight

Metrobus

Due to the Mercedes-Benz Corporate Run closing off many roads in Downtown Miami, the following Route Detours will take place between 4:30 p.m. to 11:30 pm:
