Public data available including elections, health, geographic, data requests and public information requests for Miami-Dade County.
Under the Public Access laws and the Freedom of Information Act any data is not exempted by Florida Statues (Sunshine law) and must be made available upon request. Raw data requests are available on CD/DVD, in Fixed Length ASCII format.
A variety of items are available through the Miami-Dade Elections Department Public Services Section to assist candidates, committees, political parties, government agencies, courts, students, media and interested citizens.
Health Data e-Maps is a GIS based system that allows you to locate area health services like: hospitals, health clinics, and emergency rooms. You can also visualize health statistics like: uninsured rates, mortality rates, and Medicaid rates within each zip code.
The Information Technology Department (ITD) through its GIS Division, maintains a central repository of production geographic data available to all Miami-Dade County departments. This data is comprised of numerous layers; the street network and property (parcel) layers being the primary base layers.
Public Data Files
The Bulletin Board Service (BBS) provides a quick method of downloading extract files for some of our most requested public information.
