Requesting a Pre-Construction Meeting with Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department for a Project with an Executed Water and/or Sewer Service Agreement
If you wish to request a pre-construction meeting with WASD on a project that includes an executed water and/or sewer service agreement, please note you must do so at least 48 hours (two business days) in advance of the time and date you desire. Also, you must submit the information and items listed below as part of your request to the WASD Field Operations Office at our LeJeune building, 3575 S. LeJeune Road (south of US-1).

One set of original fully approved plans with the following stamps and approvals:

Original construction permit from the Miami-Dade Public Works and Waste Management Department

Public Works and Waste Management stamp
-
Department of Health stamp (for projects involving water facilities)
-
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Department stamp (for projects involving water facilities)
-
Miami-Dade Environmental Resources Management stamp (for projects involving sewer facilities)
-

Three sets of shop drawings to include the following:
-
Project name
-
Project address
-
WASD approval numbers
-
Contractor approval
-
Contractor name, contact person and telephone number
-
Construction Complaint Unit
