The Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department is proud to offer some of the lowest water and sewer rates across the country and is consistently looking for ways to provide quality service to our customers. Since October 1, 2002, retail WASD customers have been benefiting from the elimination of seasonal surcharges and the implementation of a consistent, simplified meter-based rate structure. The current rate structure encourages water conservation and remains low for most single and multi-family residence customers who have low to average consumption.
