Water and Sewer Department traffic advisory for Miller Road

The Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department (WASD) will complete the final pipe replacement installation and connection tonight for the 48-inch water main that ruptured on Miller Road and Southwest 124th Avenue Tuesday afternoon.

Restoration to the area between Southwest 124th through 127th Avenue will be completed by Sunday, May 8, and the two eastbound lanes will reopen at that time. The outer westbound lane is currently open to traffic.

The inner westbound lane will remain closed for approximately one week as WASD staff continues to make repairs to the inside of the water main line.
