Lane closures in Coral Gables for water main replacement


(MIAMI, October 29, 2012) – The Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department (WASD) will continue emergency work on its Bird Road water main replacement at 7 a.m., Tuesday, October 30th. The department is replacing portions of a 42-inch water main within the City of Coral Gables. The construction will begin at Bird Road (Southwest 40th Street) between University Drive and Tiara Ct.

This emergency job will result in temporary lane closures. The Westbound lane adjacent to the median will be closed. The job will be performed between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., Monday through Saturday for the next two weeks.
