South Miami-Dade County water line repair project suspended
(MIAMI, February 13, 2013) – The Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department (WASD) has temporarily suspended until further notice a construction project to replace segments of a 48-inch water line along Southwest 87th Avenue in South Miami-Dade County. Due to deficiencies in the system, the project had resulted in less than normal water pressure in the surrounding areas of Pinecrest, Palmetto Bay and Cutler Bay.
Normal water pressures should be returned by noon.
