Water main break in North Dade causes localized boil water order

(MIAMI, June 10, 2013) – Residents are being advised to avoid the area of NW 43 Avenue and NW 183 Street due to a water main break. Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department (WASD) crews are on site making repairs.

A localized boil water order is being issued for the area bordered by NW 178 Street to 183 Street and from NW 42 Court to NW 44 Avenue. All water used for drinking or cooking should be boiled prior to consumption. Water should be brought to a full rolling boil for at least one minute.
