Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department replacement project to result in low pressure, cloudy water for western Miami-Dade County

(MIAMI, July 23, 2013) – The Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department (WASD) is going to proactively replace a 48-inch water line on Miller Road (Southwest 56th Street) between Southwest 127th and 137th Avenues. As a result of this project, customers in the western part of the County will experience lower than normal water pressure. The water may also be cloudy at times. Let the water run for a few minutes and it will clear. It is safe to drink.

The department is encouraging that customers conserve the use of water during the peak use hours of the early morning and evenings.

It is the priority of the Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department to provide safe, reliable service to its customers. For additional information about Department services and programs, visit www.miamidade.gov/water.
