Water main break causes localized boil water order and traffic closure

(MIAMI, September 1, 2013) – Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department crews are onsite making repairs to a 12-inch water main break on N. Kendall Drive, just east of SW 77 Avenue.  One westbound lane will be closed for the duration of the day.

A localized boil water order is being issued for a 250-unit apartment complex, Paradise at Dadeland located at 7713 SW 88 Street.  The water used for drinking or cooking should be boiled prior to consumption. Water should be brought to a full rolling boil for at least one minute.
