Water Pipe Repair Results in Low Water Pressure

(MIAMI, November 14, 2013) – The Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department is making repairs to a 54-inch water main. This will result in low pressure for a portion of the County for the duration of the project.

The areas that will be impacted for the next four to five weeks are Hialeah Gardens, Hialeah, Miami Lakes and Opa-Locka.

Residents can expect there to be lower than normal water pressure during peak water demand times – which are the morning and evening hours. Please be conscious of the water that you use during these times to lessen the impact.
