Lane Closures for Sewer Pipe Evaluation on Southwest 88th Street
(MIAMI, February 7, 2014) – The Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department (WASD) will be conducting a condition assessment of a 60-inch sewer pipe beginning at 8 p.m. Saturday night and concluding 8 a.m. Sunday morning on Southwest 88th Street (Kendall Drive). There will be no service interruption; however there will be minor lane closures at Southwest 99th Court and Southwest 87th Street, as well as Southwest 88th Street and Southwest 97th Avenue.
The department uses acoustical equipment to record and evaluate the condition of the pipe in order to assess if proactive repairs or replacement is necessary.
