Traffic detour at Northwest 12th Avenue and Northwest 50-54 Streets due to 12-inch water main break
(MIAMI, July 31, 2014) – The Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department (WASD) is making repairs to a 12-inch water main that broke on Northwest 12th Avenue between Northwest 50th-54th streets.
As a result, the two southbound lanes on NW 12th Avenue will be closed and traffic will be detoured to one of the northbound lanes. Traffic delays could result during the repair job, so commuters may want to take alternate routes.
Customers in the surrounding area may experience lower than normal water pressure from 5 p.m. until midnight while WASD makes the pipe repair.
