Lane closures for water main repair
(MIAMI, August 22, 2014) – The Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department (WASD) will be repairing a portion of a 36-inch water main on the North East 79th Street Causeway. Repairs will begin at 7 p.m. tonight and will be completed by 6 a.m. Saturday morning. Traffic lane closures include two westbound lanes and one eastbound lane. One westbound and two eastbound lanes will remain open for travel.
Commuters may want to avoid the area.
