East bound lane closed on NW 79th street due to water line repair

(MIAMI, September 17, 2014) – The Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department (WASD) will be repairing a 12-inch water main in the City of North Bay Village. Traffic will be affected on Northwest 79th Street between Hispañola Avenue to East Treasure Drive for the next two nights. The northern east-bound lane will be closed, but two lanes in each direction will remain open for traffic.

The lane closure begins tonight at 7:30 p.m. and completes at 6 a.m. Thursday morning. The job will then resume Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. and wrap up at 6 a.m. on Friday morning. 

Commuters may want to avoid the area during construction hours to avoid possible delays.
