Emergency pipe replacement on SW 27 avenue to begin Monday

(MIAMI, October 30, 2014) On Monday, Nov. 3rd, the Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department will begin an emergency repair to a 36-inch water main on Southwest 27th Avenue between Southwest 22nd Street and South Dixie Highway. The construction project is scheduled to be completed in three weeks. Hours of construction will vary and will include work performed at night.

Commuters may want to avoid the area during that time, as multiple lane closures will occur throughout the project. At minimum, one northbound and southbound lane will remain open to traffic throughout the repair.
