WASD begins water main repair on Northeast Second Avenue

(MIAMI, November 14, 2014) On Monday, November 17, the Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department will begin an emergency repair to a 36-inch water main on Northeast Second Avenue at two locations – at Northeast 29th Street and Northeast 35th Street. The construction project is scheduled to be completed in one week. Hours of construction will vary and will include work performed at night.

Commuters may want to avoid the area during that time, as multiple lane closures will occur throughout the project. At minimum, one northbound and southbound lane will remain open to traffic throughout the repair.
