Emergency Pipe Replacement on Southwest 56th Street to begin Monday

(MIAMI, December 5, 2014) On Monday, Dec. 8th, the Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department will begin an emergency 72-hour repair project to two 48-inch water mains at the intersection of Southwest 56th Street (Miller Drive) and Southwest 134th Place. The construction project will be performed around the clock until it is completed.

To accommodate repairs, the inner westbound lane of Southwest 56th Street will be closed during construction between Southwest 132nd and 134th Avenues. Commuters may want to avoid the area during that time.
