Industrial - Commercial - Institutional Water-Use Evaluations

The Miami-Dade County Water Use Efficiency Program encourages Industrial, Commercial and Institutional (ICI) facilities to reduce their water consumption through the implementation of best management practices that would save water and money.

Adopting cost-saving green practices can lower maintenance costs while helping Miami-Dade County achieve conservation goals. Reducing water consumption can also help a facility save in energy costs. Check out these tips  for ideas and ways to green your business.

To measure how green your business operations are, you can complete the Green Business Application Checklist. You can also see if you meet all required measures to qualify for the Miami-Dade Green Business Certification program.

Facility managers can now use the South Florida Water Management District's Water Efficiency Improvement Self-Assessment Guide  to better understand their building's water use and develop a plan to increase efficiency without sacrificing performance.
