Lodging Facilities Showerhead Retrofit

Owners of hotel and motel properties, with 100 rooms or less and built before 1996, are eligible for a Large Volume Distribution of high-efficiency showerheads and faucet aerators.

 

Applying for the Lodging Showerhead Retrofit

To be eligible for a Large Volume Distribution, an applicant must present evidence of ownership or provide proof that they are an authorized representative for the property.

  • Complete the application  to start your water savings.
  • Mail the application to:

Why go high-efficiency?

Showering can account for a large percentage of the water use at a hotel or motel. With Miami-Dade County high-efficiency showerheads, water and energy savings at your facility can add up quickly. Our showerheads use only 1.5 gallons per minute, reducing water demand by at least 50 percent over a standard showerhead.

Miami-Dade County’s high-efficiency showerheads provide you with the feeling of high pressure and it even comes with three massaging features.
