MIAMI – The Asian-American Advisory Board (AAAB), under the Office of Community Advocacy, will hold its first monthly meeting of the new year on Tuesday, Jan. 14 at 6 p.m. at the 10th Floor Transportation Trust Conference Room of the Stephen P. Clark Center, 111 NW 1st Street, Miami, FL.
The agenda for this month will include the introduction of the new executive board officers for 2020, an update on Census 2020, and a review of the outreach efforts and events planned for the upcoming months in order to promote Asian cultural and civic engagement opportunities for Miami-Dade County residents.
All meetings of the Asian-American Advisory Board are open to the public, and residents are encouraged to attend and learn more about the work of the board. There will be an opportunity for attendees to comment at the beginning of the meeting, and the board is especially interested in hearing about issues impacting the Asian community in Miami-Dade County.
