Miami-Dade County Asian-American Advisory Board to hold public meeting |

MIAMI – The Asian-American Advisory Board (AAAB), under the Office of Community Advocacy, will hold its monthly meeting at 6 p.m., on Tuesday, May 12 via Zoom using link https://miamidade.live/AAAB. The agenda for this month includes guest speakers Brian Siegal, American Jewish Committee of Miami & Broward Director, Mildred I. Duprey de Robles, U.S. Department of Justice Conciliation Specialist, and Aileen Alon, Venture Cafe Miami Program and Partnership Manager. Also on the Agenda, information on how the public can celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, details on what the County is doing regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19, and an update on Census 2020. All meetings of the Asian-American Advisory Board are open to the public, and residents are encouraged to attend and learn more about the work of the board. There will be an opportunity for attendees to comment at the beginning of the meeting, and the board is especially interested in hearing about issues impacting the Asian community in Miami-Dade County.
