MIAMI – The Hispanic Affairs Advisory Board (HAAB), under the Office of Community Advocacy, created a COVID-19 Task Force during its May 12 Board meeting. The Task Force will consist of HAAB members from broad and diverse backgrounds who will assess the impacts of COVID-19 on the community, especially the vulnerable populations of Miami-Dade County. This group will discuss approaches towards assistance as well as short-term and long-term initiatives to aid the community. The Task Force will hear from experts in fields relating to communities impacted by COVID-19.
