Miami-Dade County Asian-American Advisory Board to hold public meeting

 

MIAMI – The Asian-American Advisory Board (AAAB), under the Office of Community Advocacy, will hold its monthly meeting at 4 p.m., on Tuesday, June 9 via Zoom using link https://miamidade.live/AAAB. The agenda on this meeting includes the topic of educating our communities as to bring awareness of racism and hate crimes against Asian-Americans and how to report such incidents during the current COVID-19 pandemic.

All meetings of the Asian-American Advisory Board are open to the public, and residents are encouraged to attend and learn more about the work of the board. There will be an opportunity for attendees to comment at the beginning of the meeting, and the board is especially interested in hearing about issues impacting the Asian community in Miami-Dade County.
