Miami-Dade Hispanic Affairs Advisory Board issues a statement regarding Venezuela


MIAMI – The Miami-Dade Hispanic Affairs Advisory Board (HAAB), under the Office of Community Advocacy salutes the people of Venezuela for courageously fighting for democracy. HAAB supports the recent resolution condemning the Maduro regime and calling for democracy in Venezuela filed by Commissioner Jose “Pepe” Diaz and unanimously adopted by the Board of County Commissioners.

“HAAB stands in solidarity with the Venezuelan people during this historic turning point in their country, we hope this change in government will be the start of the restoration of human rights and democracy in Venezuela.” Francesco Duberli, Chairperson, Miami-Dade County Hispanic Affairs Advisory Board.
