All Aboard! Miami-Dade County Animal Services Teams Up With the Gold Coast Railroad Museum for a Day of Pet Adoptions

(MIAMI, November 1, 2013) – In an effort to help reduce the number of homeless pets, Miami-Dade County Animal Services and the Gold Coast Rail Road Museum will hold a special pet adoption event on Saturday, November 2nd, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, at the Gold Coast Railroad Museum located at 12450 SW 152nd Street, Miami, FL.

The event will shed light on the tireless efforts and commitment of Miami-Dade County Animal Services Department and local rescues organizations to save the lives of countless dogs and cats every day.

The Gold Coast Railroad Museum will host a day of FREE admissions for the event. All pet adoptions will be ½ off for dogs and cats. Several activities will be available, for an additional cost, including trains rides, tours, arts & crafts, bounce houses and food trucks.

“I am pleased that these events are hosted in my district and support the collaboration between Gold Coast Railroad Museum and Miami-Dade County Animal Services in finding loving homes for these abandoned pets” said Commissioner Dennis C. Moss,

About The GOLD COAST RAILROAD MUSEUM:

The Gold Coast Railroad Museum is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving, exhibiting, and operating historic railroad equipment.
