If you wish to remain anonymous, your complaint may not be investigated if the code inspector, assumes your allegations to be true, but determines that such allegations do not rise to the level of a code violation then no investigation will be initiated. Similarly, if your allegations do not contain enough information or the information provided, assuming that your allegations are true, does not indicate an imminent threat then no invesgation will be initiated. Therefore, please carefully consider whether to make an anonymous complaint and, if so, that what is being reported and not being reported is part of your complaint. Anonymous complaints should be called in to the Fire Prevention Division at 786.331.4800.

If you are willing to provide your name and address, an investigation can proceed regardless of whether there is an imminent threat.
