Deadline Extended: Applications available for Vice Chairman Gilbert’s Safe Summers Grant

MIAMI-DADE – Vice Chairman Oliver G. Gilbert, III is committed to keeping our community safe and providing fun and healthy alternatives for all children. In this spirit, Vice Chairman Gilbert is announcing the launch of the Safe Summers Grant to provide supplemental funding for existing summer programs that operate within District 1.

All programs within District 1 are encouraged to apply for this grant to assist in continuing to serve the children of our community. The deadline to apply has been extended to Monday, May 30, at 5 p.m. Any questions, contact the District 1 office at [email protected] or 305-474-3011.

To be eligible, the program must be located within the geographical boundaries of District 1. To see a map of all the County districts, visit the Board of County Commissioners webpage.
