Applications available for Chairman Gilbert’s 2024 Safe Summers Initiative

MIAMI-DADE – The Office of Chairman Oliver G. Gilbert, III is committed to keeping the community safe and providing fun and healthy alternatives for all children through his Safe Summers Initiative. Last year, Chairman Gilbert launched this initiative to provide supplemental funding for existing summer programs that operate within District 1.

Programs are encouraged to apply for this initiative to assist in continuing to serve the children of District 1 during the summer months. To be eligible, the program must be located within District 1.

Applications are due by Friday, May 10. All required documents must be uploaded at the time of submission.
