Chairman Monestime to host tennis courts ribbon cutting ceremony at Oak Grove Park


(MIAMI-DADE, FL) –Miami-Dade County Commission Chairman Jean Monestime will be hosting along with the Miami-Dade Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially open four new tennis courts at Oak Grove Park, on Friday, Dec. 18 at 10 a.m. at 690 NE 159th Street, Miami. A community tennis tournament will follow the ceremony.

“I am very proud of the work that we have accomplished here. The new tennis courts are first class and area residents will enjoy their use for years to come,” said Chairman Jean Monestime who sponsored the legislation.

Phase development at this park will include the demolition of four pre-existing tennis courts to be replaced by the future Father Gerard Jean-Juste Community Center.
