Miami-Dade County Commission for Women to hold Human Trafficking Forum in Pinecrest Gardens


MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FL – The Miami-Dade County Commission for Women will hold the “What, Where, and Why of Human Trafficking” Forum on Wednesday, September 14, 2016, from 7 to 9 p.m., in Pinecrest Gardens, 11000 Red Road, Hibiscus Room. The forum is free and open to the public.

Speakers will include representatives from the Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Florida, the Miami-Dade State Attorney, and local victim assistance groups. The forum is being held in partnership with Miami-Dade County Commissioner Daniella Levine Cava, Miami-Dade County Commissioner Xavier Suarez, Pinecrest Mayor Cindy Lerner, Palmetto Bay Mayor Eugene Flinn, and South Miami Mayor Philip K. Stoddard.
