Chairman Jean Monestime and the Uptown Avenue 7 Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) present the inaugural Uptown Avenue 7 Street Fair Art Bazaar

MIAMI-DADE – Miami-Dade County Commission Chairman Jean Monestime and the Uptown Avenue 7 Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) will present the inaugural UPTOWN AVENUE 7 ART BAZAAR on Saturday, Nov. 12, from 2 to 7 p.m. at the Arcola Lakes Library Plaza, 8240 NW 7th Avenue, Miami, FL 33150.

“This free event will utilize art as an economic generator for businesses in the area,” said Chairman Monestime. “The festival is appropriate for all ages and will serve as a visual vehicle to preserve heritage, to foster community engagement, and as a platform to diversify the artistic landscape in the western world.”

Art lovers attending the Uptown Avenue 7 Art Bazaar can venture into Miami Urban Contemporary Experience (MUCE)'s iconic Pop-up Pallet exhibition that features artists from heritage neighborhoods and surrounding areas. There will also be entertainment, vendors, cuisine, and family fun on the 7th Avenue Corridor to promote the CRA’s mission iWork, iShop, and iPlay. Larry Dogg and Maryel Epps will be delighting attendees with their music. Families will enjoy the Kid's zone hosting interactive art play stations & playground and also reading in the library.
