Commissioner Monestime to cut ribbon at new 7th Avenue Holiday Inn

MIAMI-DADE – Miami-Dade County Commissioner Jean Monestime is pleased to announce the ribbon cutting for the new Holiday Inn at 7927 NW 7th Ave., on Thursday, Feb. 6 at 4:30 p.m.

The fully refurbished building is a vibrant symbol of the transformation of the 7th Avenue Corridor that has taken place under the auspices of the Northwest 7th Avenue Community Redevelopment Agency, which has received strong backing from Commissioner Monestime.

The hotel tower, which overlooks I-95, had become a conspicuous eyesore and symbol of blight after suffering years of neglect under previous management. It now stands as an appealing and sophisticated addition to the Miami hotel scene, with modern, vibrant décor and inviting public spaces, including meeting room spaces and boardroom, open lounge and relaxation areas, plus a lively Bistro and Bar featuring international fare.

“This attractive new Holiday Inn will further revitalize the 7th Avenue corridor by beautifying the area, generating economic activity and providing good-paying jobs to local residents,” Commissioner Monestime said.
