Commissioner Bastien to host Haitian Heritage Month celebration

MIAMI-DADE – In honor of Haitian Heritage Month, Commissioner Marleine Bastien will host Legacy: Past, Present, Future, a Haitian heritage celebration, on Tuesday, May 7, at 12 p.m., at Stephen P. Clark Government Center, 111 NW 1st St., Miami, FL 33132. This arts and culture exhibition is free and open to the public.

This event aims to honor the rich, cultural legacy of the Haitian community, highlighting its contributions to the past, present, and future of Miami. Attendees will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a variety of activities, including traditional dance and music performances, an art exhibition with Azizi Desouza, and authentic cuisine.
