MIAMI - Miami-Dade County Commissioner Jean Monestime celebrated Black History Month with the 2nd Annual Black History Month Honors Lifetime Achievement Awards Luncheon, held on February 25, 2018 at the Arcola Lakes Senior Center.

There were 200 people in attendance as he recognized community leaders for their contribution to our County and Country. Maryel Epps stunned the audience with her jazzy gospel performance as everyone enjoyed a delightful southern meal.
