Commissioner Eileen Higgins Hosts Access to Capital Breakfast to Support Local Entrepreneurs

MIAMI-DADE – Commissioner Eileen Higgins will host the Elevate District 5 Access to Capital Breakfast, on Wednesday, May 7 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at The Idea Center at Miami Dade College – 315 NE 2nd Avenue, Building 8, 5th Floor, Miami, FL 33132.

The breakfast is a networking and educational event for small businesses in District 5. Information will be provided on funding opportunities, financial tools, and also expert advice from representatives from financial institutions and small business support organizations. The event is part of a full calendar of events planned throughout National Small Business Week 2025*.
