Commissioner Kevin Marino Cabrera named as Vice Chair of the International Trade Consortium (ITC)

MIAMI-DADE – Today, Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava appointed County Commissioner Kevin Marino Cabrera as Vice Chair of the International Trade Consortium (ITC).

The Office of the Miami-Dade County International Trade Consortium (ITC) serves as the County's lead liaison to foreign governments and works closely with other offices to ensure protocol procedures and services are met. The goal of the International Trade Consortium is to solidify the County's position as a "Global Gateway" for international trade by enhancing international relations, cultural understanding, and trade.

"I look forward to working with my fellow colleagues at the International Trade Consortium on initiatives to bolster Miami-Dade County's position as a global leader in international trade. As a champion of economic development and job creation, I am excited to use my new role as Vice Chair of the ITC to bring more jobs and economic opportunities for our residents," said Commissioner Cabrera.

"I want to thank Mayor Daniella Levine Cava for honoring me with this appointment and providing me the opportunity to serve all of Miami-Dade County’s residents and businesses," added Commissioner Cabrera.

Commissioner Kevin Marino Cabrera was elected to represent the residents of Miami-Dade County's District Six on November 08, 2022. District Six includes the cities of Virginia Gardens, Miami Springs, and West Miami, parts of the cities of Miami, Coral Gables, and Hialeah, as well as sections of unincorporated Miami-Dade County.
