Commissioner Kevin Marino Cabrera Announces New Home Beautification Program for Residents of District 6
MIAMI-DADE – Commissioner Kevin Marino Cabrera is excited to announce the launch of a new Home Beautification Program in partnership with the Miami-Dade County Community Action and Human Services Department's (CAHSD). This initiative is designed to support low-income homeowners in District 6 by providing grants for exterior painting and landscaping assistance.
"Improving our community starts with enhancing the beauty of our neighborhoods," said Commissioner Cabrera. "This program will help those who are struggling to make ends meet by beautifying their homes. Doing so fosters a sense of pride and ownership, as well as raising the overall aesthetics of our neighborhoods.”
The Beautification Program offers grants of up to $5,000 for eligible single-family detached homes. To qualify, applicants must be the owner and occupant of the home, must not own other investment properties, and must meet specified income limits. For example, the income limit is $40,880 for a two-person household and $62,400 for a four-person household based on maximum income limit requirements. It is important for applicants to return all required documents to complete the application process.
Residents should call the Office of Commissioner Kevin Marino Cabrera at 305-267-6377 for information on how to apply.
