Commissioner McGhee to host back-to-school bookbag giveaways
MIAMI-DADE – Commissioner Kionne L. McGhee is hosting back-to-school bookbag giveaways, starting Friday, August 5, through Sunday, August 14, at multiple locations in District 9. Commissioner McGhee, along with 99JAMZ, Demesmin & Dover, and HOT105 FM, is sponsoring the event. Bookbags, notebooks, and pencils will be distributed, while supplies last. Each event will include food, music, and other giveaways for attendees.
“As children in South Dade prepare to go back to school, we want to ensure that they have the necessary supplies to begin their school year and set them up for success,” said Commissioner McGhee.
