Commissioner McGhee hosting first ArtZ305 South Dade event

MIAMI-DADE – Commissioner Kionne L. McGhee is hosting ArtZ305 South Dade on Friday, Dec. 2 through Sunday, Dec. 4 at the Miami-Homestead Speedway, One Ralph Sanchez Speedway Blvd., Homestead, FL 33035.

Admission is free for this event. In addition to the display and sale of artwork by artists from all over the County, there will be food trucks and live musical performances for attendees to enjoy.

“Art is an excellent way to express oneself and to see the world around us from a different point of view that we otherwise might not have considered. I am excited to host an event like this here and to provide a different perspective on South Dade. We, too, have an artistic side and are proud to showcase it to our residents and visitors alike. We are eager to continue building a foundation for the art and culture in our community,” said Commissioner McGhee.

Commissioner McGhee sponsored legislation, which passed at the Board of County Commissioners meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 15, recognizing December 2022, and each December thereafter, as ArtZ305 Month in Miami-Dade County.
