Commissioner Joe A. Martinez’s Annual Creative Visions Art Exhibit gets additional exposure at Miami International Airport (MIA)

MIAMI – Miami International Airport (MIA) is showcasing an art exhibition featuring art from students from Miami-Dade County Public Schools in District 11. The exhibition will display submissions from young artists who participated in Commissioner Joe A. Martinez’s annual “Creative Visions 2019” student art exhibition. The artwork will be on display at MIA, 2100 NW 42nd Ave, Miami, FL 33126, arrival/baggage claim area at Terminal E on the 1st floor by door 11 starting Monday, May 20, 2019 and throughout the summer.

“The Creative Visions competition and exhibit was developed to not only encourage art in public schools, but also as a means for students to have an artistic outlet,” said Commissioner Martinez. “I’m so pleased that our students will be able to represent our community in a location where their artwork will be seen by millions of travelers from all over the world. I would like to thank the Aviation Director, Lester Sola, for providing our students with this wonderful opportunity.”
