Grand Opening of South Florida’s newest Walmart Neighborhood Market with Commissioner Joe A. Martinez

MIAMI – Miami-Dade County Commissioner Joe A. Martinez invites you to celebrate the grand opening of South Florida’s newest Walmart Neighborhood Market, 14720 SW 26 Street (Coral Way), on Wednesday, January 8 at 9:00 a.m. This Walmart will feature several innovations that will make shopping experience easier and more convenient.

The Coral Way Neighborhood Market is the latest example of how Walmart is expanding access to fresh, affordable groceries to Miami-Dade County customers. This store will have online grocery pickup, same day delivery, expanded self-checkout, and Check-Out With Me; a service that allows customers to complete their purchase directly with a Walmart associate outfitted with a mobile device in the store.

Some of this Walmart’s features include: a produce section with an array of fresh fruits and vegetables, including a number of organic selections; a full-service pharmacy ready to assist customers with prescriptions, immunizations, product questions and other health services; deli and in-store bakery with custom-cut meats and cheeses, along with fresh breads; and a grocery department with shoppers’ favorite name-brand products at the same affordable prices as Walmart’s larger stores.
