Commissioner Gonzalez to host District 11 Tree Lighting

MIAMI-DADE – Commissioner Roberto J. Gonzalez is hosting the District 11 Tree Lighting at 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 17, at Kendale Lakes Branch Library, 15205 SW 88th St., Miami, FL 33196.

Families are encouraged to attend the District 11 Tree Lighting for an evening of fun holiday activities to celebrate the season. Children can enjoy story time and face painting in addition to pictures with Mr. & Mrs. Claus. A special guest from the North Pole will also be present.

Holiday refreshments will be provided on a first come, first served basis until supplies last. The event will also feature music by DJ AJ.

Commissioner Gonzalez has partnered with Lennar, Miami-Dade Public Library System (MDPLS), Friends of the Miami-Dade Public Library, BJ’s, Publix, and Starbucks to make this event possible and spread holiday cheer to residents.
