Commissioner Diaz to help host third annual Support Our Police motorcycle Ride and Rally


MIAMI – Miami-Dade County Commissioner Jose “Pepe” Diaz will join the Dade County Police Benevolent Association (PBA) to host the third annual "Support Our Police" motorcycle ride and rally in support of law enforcement on Sunday, Feb. 26 at noon at Tropical Park.

The ride route starts at the Dade County PBA, 10680 PBA Memorial Boulevard in Doral, and ends at the Miami-Dade County Law Enforcement Memorial in Tropical Park, 7900 SW 40th St. in Miami. Non-riders should meet at the park at noon and bring blankets and chairs to sit comfortably. A law enforcement tribute ceremony will take place at the park at 3 p.m. The event also will feature food trucks and entertainment.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the PBA Love Fund, a 501(c)(3) charity that assists officers and their families during times of need. Donations are tax-deductible.

For motorcycle riders, registration is $20 per rider and includes a long-sleeved T-shirt. Registration is taking place at the Dade County PBA, 10680 PBA Memorial Boulevard, 3rd Floor, in Doral.
