Commissioner Diaz to team up with Miami Dolphins for Thanksgiving turkey giveaway at school


MIAMI-DADE COUNTY – Miami-Dade County Commissioner Jose “Pepe” Diaz will team up with the Miami Dolphins and cheerleaders to give away Thanksgiving turkeys to preselected students at John G. Dupuis Elementary School, 1150 West 59 Place in Hialeah on Thursday, November 16 at 11:00 a.m.

“This great partnership with the Miami Dolphins has become an annual event that I always look forward to,” Commissioner Diaz said. “I am grateful for their commitment to our community and ensuring families in District 12 have a wonderful Thanksgiving.”

“We are excited to continue this great tradition of providing healthy Thanksgiving meals to our community,” Jason Jenkins, Senior Vice President of Communications and Community Affairs of the Miami Dolphins said. “Thank you to Commissioner Diaz for this great partnership. We take pride in serving throughout the year and especially during this holiday season.”
