Commissioner Diaz to provide free face masks to residents at North Trail Park drive-through event


MIAMI-DADE – In response to the latest surge in COVID-19 cases and the county’s face mask requirement, Miami-Dade County Commissioner Jose “Pepe” Diaz will offer free reusable face masks to residents at a drive-through distribution at North Trail Park, 780 NW 127th Ave., on Thursday, July 9 from 10 a.m. until supplies run out.

Residents must remain inside their cars and be prepared to roll down their window when it’s their turn in line. Masks will be distributed on a first come, first served basis. The distribution is drive-through only; no walk-ups will be permitted.

The face masks are being supplied by Dr. Yesenia Villalta and the Florida Department of Health.
