District 12 seniors enjoy Christmas luncheon with the stars

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY - More than 1,200 elderly residents from District 12 enjoyed a festive afternoon with the stars at Commissioner Jose "Pepe" Diaz annual Christmas celebration luncheon for senior citizens on Dec. 7 at the Doubletree Miami Mart Airport Hotel.

A host of Latin celebrities including Jencarlos Canela and Eduardo Ibarrola, met and danced with the seniors. The event also featured small gifts for attendees and a raffle of gift cards, televisions and microwaves.

"The seniors had a great time spending time with their favorite Latin stars, which brightens up their Christmas every year" Commissioner Diaz said.
