MIAMI-DADE – Miami-Dade County Chairman Jose “Pepe” Diaz received the award for “Leader of the Year” from the Latin Builders Association, the largest Hispanic construction association in the United States.

Chairman Diaz was honored during the 40th Annual LBA Awards Ceremony, which took place Friday, Oct. 1, and featured keynote speaker Gov. Ron DeSantis. The association, established in 1971, is celebrating its 50th anniversary.

“Thank you to the Latin Builders Association for awarding me the ‘Leader of the Year Award’ and for everything you do to support Latin entrepreneurs & businesses in Miami-Dade County,” Chairman Diaz said.
